Anushka moved to Mumbai following her graduation and enrolled herself at the Elite Model Management, and was groomed by style consultant Prasad Bidapa. In 2017 Anushka was the first model to debut in the Wendell Rodricks' Les Vamps Show at Lakme Fashion Week and was chosen by the designer to be his last model in the Spring Summer 2007 Collection. Anushka has been working with a variety of brands since her debut as a model at Lakme Fashion Week. She's worked on campaigns with Fiat Palio, Silk & Shine Whisper Nathella Jewelry, as well as Fiat Palio. The movie received a great reception and was a huge success. Anushka completed her three-film deal together with Yash Raj Films after Band Baaja Baaraat.
